About Kun Arabian

Kun Arabian is a curated marketplace for heritage craft from across the Arab world. We work directly with verified makers — goldsmiths in Cairo, weavers in Aleppo, ceramicists in Fez, calligraphers in Riyadh — and we publish the story behind each piece, in their own words.

What we do

Every product on Kun Arabian is hand-vetted by our editorial team. We visit each workshop, document the process, and require a stamped certificate of authenticity from the maker. We list provenance, materials, technique, and the artisan's full bio on every product page.

How we vet our makers

• On-site workshop visit by a Kun editor before onboarding

• Annual review of fair-pay practices and material sourcing
• Direct line between buyer and maker for bespoke commissions

Why "Kun"?

"Kun" — كن — is the Arabic imperative for "be." It opens the verse of creation in many traditions, and it captures what we hope our makers do every day: bring something into the world.

Kun Arabian is registered in Dubai, with editorial offices in Cairo and Casablanca. Our makers ship from twelve cities across the GCC, Levant, and North Africa.
